About Me

How I started

I had been working in the corporate world for 20 years when I was made redundant in Nov 22. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do but knew I needed a break. 6 months later, I was crafting with my then 8 year old and I felt so content with what we had made I knew I had to put that feeling into action and share what makes me happy. 

I started making glass bead earrings and bracelets adding different charms to make them more personal and then saw a Silver jewellery course come up at the local college and signed up straight away. After the first day, I knew this was what I was meant to do.

My workshop is affectionately known as “The Hive” as I have solitary bees that nest there every year. With the combination of jewellery charms and bees, Charming Bee Accessories was born in September 2023.

How it’s going

I have completed several silversmithing courses and continue to work on my skills while in my home workshop. I’m a firm believer in continuously honing and developing my skills to enable me to create beautiful jewellery that my customers will treasure.

I try to attend as many markets and event as I can so that you can see my jewellery before you buy and I love speaking to customer about bespoke pieces.
